The Knife-Edge Profile The distinctive knife-shaped sidewall profile is the product of careful engineering. During development, the relationship between tip geometry and contact surface was analyzed extensively. A tip that is too narrow produces an overly directional car with limited slip control. A tip that is too wide increases the contact patch excessively, dulling steering response. The final profile strikes the ideal balance — delivering precise directional accuracy while preserving a measured degree of slip capability that proves invaluable in technical cornering situations.
Once mounted, the sidewalls increase the diameter of the wheel rim edge and noticeably improve cornering stability, giving the car a responsive, natural feel through every turn.
Effortless Installation and Removal Each kit includes two dedicated tools: one for precise mounting that ensures perfect adhesion and a clean finish, and one for clean removal when it is time to swap sizes. Using both tools together is recommended to ensure correct installation every time.
